Nikita studied digital filmmaking at FX School and assisted directors on Indian feature films Fukrey (2013) and Mirzya (2016), right from the script stage.

Her work includes a non-fiction series on Netflix, and an animated series on Amazon Prime (USA), among others.

An adorable chase comedy between Sundar—a dog who works at Kerala's best tea shop, and Basha—a monkey whose only mission in life is to steal delicious snacks from the shop and look cool while he does it.

Direction and Script - Winner, Crash the Pepsi IPL

Nikita wrote and directed this prize-winning Pepsi commercial on a shoestring budget. The ad was telecast at primetime during the 2015 Indian Premier League.

This commercial is based on the true story of two users of the matrimonial site. Nikita wrote script and dialogue to reflect the anxieties of a modern bride to a tight brief from the client and director.
